Seven Creeks Walk Series

Organizing walking conversations & collaborative action along our creeks.

Participants observe and share stories, insights, and visions to better manage, restore, and love our streams. They engage in on-the-ground actions to build community connection in uncovering and restoring our buried and impaired creeks. Efforts target communities faced with environmental injustices and advocates for a more meaningful engagement process that gives marginalized communities a voice. Through urban intervention (short-term, low-cost projects to catalyze long-term change), participants create calls to action and make the invisible visible.

I liked being able to physically [walk] the [underground creeks] as we learned about them. I never thought about underground water before.
