My Creeks

Immersing users in our waterways through outdoor exploration.

A series of seven interactive websites highlighting our creek watersheds. They highlight areas for recreation, including trails, amenities, and events, and locations of each waterway. Share your voice through “Submit Story” to enhance education, visibility, and stewardship, including poetry, photos, videos, text, quizzes, and more. “Report an Issue” to address watershed and water quality concerns, including erosion, pollution, garbage, and more.

Users learn about watershed protection, individual action, and behavioral change to improve conditions along our creeks. The platform spans the east and west-sides of the Salt Lake Valley to bridge barriers as residents explore waterways, report issues, and highlight stories, history, culture, and destinations. Follow one of the seven learning pathways—community, ecology, history, recreation, and water—to sync your phone to our creeks.
