Walk Emigration Creek along the Recreation Big Idea of the Seven Greenways Vision Plan!
Join us for a walk along the Recreation Big Idea — Wasatch Hollow to Westminster with Salt Lake City. Big Idea Walks aim to build momentum for opportunity areas identified across the Salt Lake Valley, within the Seven Greenways Vision Plan. Five walks across the five core element—Water, Nature, Community, Recreation, and Urban—will take place this Summer.
Opportunity areas identify projects that would create significant and impactful change in implementing goals. Five Big Ideas illustrate possibilities when applying goals in a transformational way.
We will meet at Wasatch Hollow and walk to Allen Park. This is 2.3 miles on sidewalks and level grass. It will be ADA-accessible (however, the route has several steep grades). Participants should come prepared for the weather and mileage with water, snacks, medications, etc.
