Explore the condition of the Salt Lake Valley’s waterways and learn about recreation in your backyard. Win awesome prizes and more! The Range 2 River Relay is light on competition and heavy on fun!
We have an exciting course this year! We will be switching the legs to boat, run, and then bike with a Finish Line Celebration at the Three Creeks Confluence!
Team Heat
For those looking to build friendships and enjoy family friendly fun, this team based race includes three participants: a biker, a runner, and a boater. Each teammate completes one leg of the course, moving together through some of Salt Lake City’s most scenic waterways and trails.
Boat Leg #1: The race kicks off on the water, with paddlers traveling from the Three Creeks Confluence Boat Ramp to the Fisher Mansion Boat Ramp (2.20 miles).
Run Leg #2: From the Fisher Mansion, runners head back to the Three Creeks Confluence along a scenic route (2.05 miles).
Bike Leg #3: Cyclists finish the race by riding from the Three Creeks Confluence to the Mill Creek Confluence and back (2.93 miles each way, 5.86 miles total).
This relay style format keeps the event approachable, social, and fun, while highlighting the connected creek and river corridors that make this area so special.
Individual Heat
For those looking to test their active transportation and outdoor recreation abilities! Participate in the course as a triathlon.
