Walk Little Cottonwood Creek along the Urban Big Idea of the Seven Greenways Vision Plan!
Join us for a walk along the Urban Big Idea — Fort Union to Wheeler Farm with Cottonwood Heights and Midvale. Big Idea Walks aim to build momentum for opportunity areas identified across the Salt Lake Valley, within the Seven Greenways Vision Plan. Five walks across the five core element—Water, Nature, Community, Recreation, and Urban—will take place this Summer.
Opportunity areas identify projects that would create significant and impactful change in implementing goals. Five Big Ideas illustrate possibilities when applying goals in a transformational way.
We will meet at the east-end of the Walmart parking lot and walk to Fort Union Blvd. This is 1.4 miles on level grass and sidewalks. There are a few curbs that do not have accessible ramps. Participants should come prepared for the weather and mileage with water, snacks, medications, etc.
