Walk Big Cottonwood Creek along the Nature Big Idea of the Seven Greenways Vision Plan!
Join us for a walk along the Nature Big Idea — State Street to the Jordan River Trail with Murray and Millcreek. Big Idea Walks aim to build momentum for opportunity areas identified across the Salt Lake Valley, within the Seven Greenways Vision Plan. Five walks across the five core element—Water, Nature, Community, Recreation, and Urban—will take place this Summer.
Opportunity areas identify projects that would create significant and impactful change in implementing goals. Five Big Ideas illustrate possibilities when applying goals in a transformational way.
We will meet at the east-end of Gilbride Ave and walk to the KPC Promise Hospital. This is 0.6 miles on paved trails and sidewalks. It will be ADA-accessible. Participants should come prepared for the weather and mileage with water, snacks, medications, etc.
