Three Creeks Confluence Wayfinding Installation: A Design & Build Competition

Artists wanted for a temporary wayfinding installation in the Glendale neighborhood of Salt Lake City, UT. A $2,000 honorarium is available for the chosen artist.

 

The Seven Canyons Trust, in partnership with Dominion Energy, Jordan River Commission, Salt Lake City Arts Council, Center for the Living City, ArtsBridge America, and Glendale Community Council, is seeking an artist to assist with the design and implementation of a temporary installation at 1300 South 800 West in the Salt Lake City neighborhood of Glendale. Click here for the request for proposals. This open space area, where 1300 South and California Avenue diverge, is the visual gateway to Glendale neighborhood. Goals

  • Represent the three creeks – Red Butte, Emigration, and Parley’s Creeks – that flow underneath the site; and

  • Provide wayfinding to the Three Creeks Confluence, a block to the west of the site.
