Fitts Park

Improving water quality, habitat & recreation along Mill Creek.

South Salt Lake’s largest green space, the park features a stretch of Mill Creek, two canals, playgrounds, and pavilions. Improvements will enhance water quality, habitat value, and recreation along Mill Creek. Restoration of Mill Creek will celebrate and connect the community to the waterway. The park will become a regional destination for play, celebration, recreation, and enjoyment.

The regional Mill Creek Trail was completed through Fitts Park in 2019. The trail creates an east-west connection between communities and ecosystems from the Wasatch Range to the Jordan River.
