Walk five opportunity areas in the Seven Greenways Vision Plan!

Join us for five walks along opportunity areas along our creeks identified in the Seven Greenways Vision Plan—Water, Nature, Community, Recreation, and Urban.

 

The Seven Greenways Vision Plan inspires a common vision, over the next 100 years, to revitalize our waterways, connecting people through greenways in the Salt Lake Valley. The walks aim to build momentum for the various opportunity areas identified across the Salt Lake Valley within each core element—Water, Nature, Community, Recreation, and Urban. Opportunity areas identify projects that would create significant and impactful change in implementing goals.

Join us for one or all five walks:

01. Thursday, August 10th at 6-7P — Urban: Red Butte, Emigration, and Parleys Creeks from Ballpark to 300 W (0.8 mi)

02. Thursday, August 24th at 6-7P — Water: Emigration Creek from Herman Franks Park to Liberty Park (0.6 mi)

03. Wednesday, September 13th at 6-7:30P — Nature: Mill Creek from Scott Avenue Park to 3300 S 700 E (1.4 mi)

04. Thursday, September 28th at 6-7P — Community: Big Cottonwood Creek at Ivy Place Shopping Village (0.5 mi)

05. Wednesday, October 25th at 5:30-7P — Recreation: Big Cottonwood Creek from Holladay Hills to Creekside Park (1.2 mi)
