Help translate our website from English to Spanish! A $1,000 stipend is available for translation of website copy and review of Spanish-translated website for corrections and consultation.

The Seven Canyons Trust is seeking a consultant to help translate our website from English to Spanish. We are creating a dedicated domain for Salt Lake County’s Spanish-speaking residents. An accessible website, provided in both English and Spanish, will create a more open and engaging organization to uncover and restore our urban creeks over the next century.

Qualifications

Fluent in both Spanish and English;
Knowledge of urban planning and environmental science;
Preference given to Salt Lake County residents; and
Preference given to those experienced in translating materials from English to Spanish.

Scope of Work

The translation consultant will be offered a $1,000 stipend for the full website, approximately $0.10 a word. Words are estimated at 8,000-10,000. Work includes translation of website copy and review of Spanish-translated website for corrections and consultation. Website translation is expected to be completed 30 days after scope of work contract is signed. Review is expected to be completed 7 days after the Spanish website domain is published.
