120-foot bridge installed at Three Creeks Confluence

The 120-foot span is ready for recreaters. The connection provides a key community access point across the Jordan River to anchor institutions, the Jordan River Trail, and broader Glendale neighborhood in Salt Lake City, UT.

Construction on the Three Creeks Confluence continues! The 120-foot span bridge is now installed. The connection spans the silty waters of the Jordan, connecting the Jordan River Trail to the Three Creeks Confluence. Neighborhoods on the east and west-sides of the river now have convenient and comfortable access to either side. The previous connection required a walk down the thin sidewalks of the busy California Avenue. Youth and families have easier access to community anchor institutions, Sorenson Unity & Multi-Cultural Center, Utah Community Action, Riley Elementary, and others. The bridge provides a key access point to the Jordan River Trail and a 120-mile nearly-continuous trail system across the Wasatch Front, as well as a gateway to the Glendale neighborhood in Salt Lake City.
