Spring Internship position available

Applicants should be creative individuals with a strong work ethic and proficient written and oral communication skills. They must be self-motivated and able to work remotely. A proficiency in marketing, social media strategy, and design is preferred. Applicants must be based in Salt Lake County, UT or within easy access of it. We can tailor an internship experience to your skill set and desired learning outcomes.

Internships are 150-hour terms, approximately 10 to 15 hours per week. A $1,500 stipend is available per term. Internships may be completed for school credit.

Tasks

  1. Manage and draft content for social media, website, blog, and newsletter;

  2. Schedule and host outreach tabling events, and develop engaging, creative materials and activities;

  3. Assist with coordination, logistics, and implementation of fundraising events and programming;

  4. Assist with grant writing, development, and fundraising activities;

  5. Expand community engagement and collaboration with partners and stakeholders;

  6. Expand awareness of the Seven Canyons Trust and the importance and value of its mission; and

  7. Other tasks and assignments as needed and within the position’s capacity.
