Folsom Corridor City Creek Daylighting Feasibility Study Request for Qualifications
Consultants are invited to submit a Statement of Qualifications and Interest to provide services for a Structural Engineering Design Services contract named and numbered as “City Creek Daylighting Feasibility Study, Job No. 661701”.
The work will consist of conducting a feasibility analysis for daylighting a portion of City Creek’s flow in Folsom Corridor in Salt Lake City, Utah. The scope of work and submittal requirements is available from the City Engineer’s Office at 349 South 200 East, Suite 600, Salt Lake City, Utah. Submissions are due by 10 AM MDT on May 29, 2018 in the Salt Lake City Engineer’s Office at 349 South 200 East, Suite 600. Please submit 4 copies of the Statement of Qualifications and Interest. Late proposals will not be accepted. On the outside of the sealed envelope, type the project name and number.
The Folsom Trail and daylighting of City Creek will create a direct, comfortable, and beautiful connection between underserved west-side neighborhoods to employment and services in Downtown Salt Lake City. Communities, separated by railroad tracks, two freeways, and a redeveloping industrial area, will be linked once again. By uncovering City Creek, the health of the community will be improved, alleviating water quality impairments and improving access to nature.
