Utah Division of Forestry, Fire & State Lands - Bank Stabilization Grant
The Division of Forestry, Fire and State Lands is offering a $30,000 bank stabilization grant that requires a 1:1 match. The Division is interested in funding bank restoration projects along the Jordan River that improve fish and wildlife habitat, aquatic beauty, public recreation, water quality, and protection of infrastructure. Grant awards will be announced by the Division on or before February 1, 2019. Projects will be ranked based upon the following categories:
Matching funds and funds above the required amount (can be in kind or cash).
Feasibility for project to be carried out, and funds to be expended by June 2018.
Demonstrated need for the project.
Demonstrates use of appropriate methodology for project location, consistency with the Jordan River Comprehensive Management Plan, and use of best management practices.
Demonstration of committed project partners.
